That compounds, clips words and the genitive case are areas of Norwegian morphology which in fact are realms of uncertainty for users of the Norwegian language 2. The theoretical part has been based on some of Milroy`s (2003) theories relevant for sociolinguistic research. A two-month research period provided interviews with 188 Informants.
